OMB GUNS PRESS RELEASE
The US IPSC Nationals took place September 14-16, 2012 in Frostproof, Florida. Competitors came from all parts of the world to represent their countries and to demonstrate their skills against the best.
OMB Guns Dave Sevigny won the hotly contested Standard division by a decisive 56 point margin. Dave shot 24 stages of fire totaling nearly 400 rounds to claim the victory. The IPSC National Championship came just one week after Dave’s Limited division win at the Georgia State Championship.
The match was also counted as the first qualifying event for the 2014 IPSC World Championship. Dave’s win put him in the lead for United States team selection.
“This was without question one of the best courses of fire I’ve seen anywhere. If this is any indication of what is to come in 2014, the World Championship will be unbelievable”, said Sevigny.
The 2014 IPSC World Championship will be held at the same range in Florida at the Universal Shooting Academy.
“It’s an honor to have Dave representing OMB Guns. His ability to perform at an elite level on and off the course sets him apart from his competition. We truly value Dave as a competitor and a colleague here. His knowledge of the firearms industry has provided OMB Guns with valuable feedback we’ve been able to incorporate into our business. We wish him luck in his upcoming competitions,” said President of OMB Guns , John Ralph.
The next major competition event for Dave Sevigny is October 13-20 at the USPSA Back to Back Nationals in Las Vegas.
